They are the designers of your travel projects in France or Europe, from the costing of your project to the implementation and monitoring during the trip.  Even though Nadine essentially manages the school programmes and Gaëlle the group trips they are both very versatile and able to switch from one to the other in order to respond quickly to your needs.  Meanwhile Volodia oversees the service, determines the strategy and coordinates the service providers with the help of the other SILC teams.

He conceives the new programmes and does all the travelling to meet you either at your offices or at the workshops.

Nadine Gemon-Delage, 54, has a General University Diploma in Literature and Foreign Languages and an Advanced Certificate as a Trilingual Secretary (English – Spanish).  She spent a year in Cardiff (Wales) as a language assistant in a secondary school and then carried out work placements abroad in the UK (Newcastle) and in France.  In particular, she has worked as a Secretary and also in the export service in spirits at Marie Brizard in Bordeaux, then at Hine Cognac in Jarnac and in a photo-engraving company.

In May it will be 28 years since Nadine arrived at SILC!  She began by taking care of the placements of young Spanish scholars who came to France for a few weeks of immersion.  She then worked on the ‘Au pair’ stays in France and abroad, then on student programmes and then on language holidays.

Nadine enjoys painting (in acrylics and more abstract paintings), she enjoys cycling, nature, campervan holidays, gardening,…  A trip that particularly affected her?  Ethiopia and the discovery of ethnic groups, the Erta Ale volcano in the desert; unforgettable memories.  Attracted by culture she would now like to visit Japan.

Gaëlle Mocoeur, 35, has an Advanced Certificate in International Commerce during which she carried out a work placement of 2 ½ months in the USA with a private jet company and then with a barrel maker in Cognac.  She then achieved a diploma in International Affairs Management and took a 4-month work placement in Malta in a food products import/export company, followed by a placement in France in the wine industry.  Gaëlle came to SILC in 2008, initially in the School Travel service and then in the Language Trips service before joining the “Inbound” team.  Today this versatility enables her to look after school trips, individual stays and school groups.  She is proficient in the whole process from preparing quotations to coordinating the supervisors and monitoring the stay.

From a personal point of view Gaëlle is married, she has a little girl of 6 and enjoys music, baking and travelling. Because of its very special atmosphere she recommends a visit to the JFK Presidential Museum in Dallas that retraces the assassination of Kennedy, and to go and be dazzled by the Blue Grotto in Malta.  Her dream is to visit Rome.

Volodia Maury-Laribière, 39, is Head of SILC International.  During his years at Business School he undertook several work placements with the former SILC Agency in Barcelona.  He immersed himself in linguistic visits imagining new trips and creating brochures.  He also coordinated group arrivals, organized their stay and even their language lessons and participated in exhibitions.  After Business School he went to Montreal to follow studies in Gemmology (precious stones) during which time he also undertook professional work placements. Back in France he worked for 2 years organizing car races all over the world: he was involved in the logistics of the race preparation with the technical staff, registration of the cars, public relations and organization of the events with the sponsors.  He then joined SILC full-time in 2007 to take on the management of the ‘Reception’ service in France.  Now it is Volodia who travels to meet the agents at the workshops and provides assistance in selling the programmes in France (brochures, forums, videoconferences with clients,…).

Volodia is married and has 4-year-old twin boys.  He loves cooking, particularly his ‘grandmother’s traditional recipes’, and before cooking he enjoys browsing the markets, meeting farmers and local producers.  He loves the forest and nature as well as precious stones, cars and travel, which allows him to meet new people.
